Wednesday, April 10: It's been a hot minute since I posted. We are terrible rememberers to take pictures! The boys are doing great - lots of walkies, car rides, and treats from neighbors! We have a plethora of oak catkins falling in the yard and sticking to their tail feathers. It is an uphill battle to keep them off the dogs, out of the house, and out of the water bowl. We haven't made friends with the cats yet although they are pretty cool around Fraction (the back porch kitty) when they are heading out to play, heading in to eat, etc. If they have a goal, the cats have become secondary. Satan is still not willing to give ground and comes looking for a fight whenever he has the chance. Lucky comes back from the spats when we call. Hannibal, not so much, so we generally scoop him up and move him. We had several days of rainy rain rain. Lucky loved it all; Hannibal wants to live in the desert. All is well in Norfolk!

Sunday, March 30: Big fun day yesterday. We went to the Lake Smith park to do walkies. The smells were fabulous, says Lucky. Hannibal enjoyed them too! As you can see, it's hard to get pics while walking! Hannibal's picture will come soon.

Tuesday, March 26: We've really gotten into a routine and everyone is happy (not Satan). They've been face to face with Number One successfully. They have quite a game going in the backyard with Hannibal chasing Lucky around. Everyone is happy when Lucky has enough exercise! Everyone is eating well and enjoying daily walks. |
Thursday, March 20. All is going well. Finally got a picture of Lucky splooting. They are walking almost 3 miles a day and having a ton of backyard time!
Tuesday, March 18. We had a great ride to Lynchburg for my doctor's appointment. Lots of new smells and walkies. And when we got home...
Saturday, March 15. It's been a busy few days. We have had games in the backyard (27 throws until Lucky is done is the record). The walkies are going well. The pups went on a car ride yesterday so I could pick up some books from the library. They especially enjoy yoga time as it allows for face licking. I turned the fires on last night which startled both of them.
Wednesday, March 12. Things are going well. The pups are settling in and enjoying the yard and the walks. Eating just fine. Snuggling up in the evenings. They have made friends with the neighbors who have a nice yard. Both agree that pupperonis are the best.
