POTUS costumes
I am keeping costume pictures here for the moment so that I can more easily share them. Once I get the costume room situation in hand, we'll move things to the theatre. Other than the crocs in these pictures, most of the other items have no cost to them. I have a lot of stuff to try on Bernadette. I don't have items in hand for Harriet and Jean and will have to shop for those (other than Jean's turtleneck).
Please feel free to ask questions, suggest things, nix things. It's early days!

DustyThree possible shoe choices (she has only tried on the purple boots). The jacket will be fluffed up with lace panels/girly stuff. The image below is how you can add stuff. I would do more below the pockets.
ChrisChris's shirt is orange. The deeper color will allow wetness and baby throw up to show more effectively. She'll have a skirt and jacket as well but those are not yet in hand.

Flotus Act 1Originally I had wanted her in hot pink but this red suit comes from the costume room (so free). The Crocs are not free but they are faux crocs so only $15. I would add some kind of a shirt underneath which would peek out the top of the jacket. And accessories. StephanieI am creating two sets of underclothes for Stephanie. I am not getting the next set of underwear until we pull pants off her and ensure the underwear stay put. If they don't, I'll switch to something more like shapewear to ensure they don't budge.

Flotus at the GalaThis gown was also at the theatre. The crocs were pricey ($40) and I'd like to find an alternative. I see the daisy ones below in Marketplace. I can paint the yellow circles green and change out the fur lining. Or I can keep hunting.
I would add a neck scarf with jewels on it to the dress so that it looks more classy. It's sleeveless so if we are worried it may slip, we could add a top piece. Here are some ideas (obviously we would match the green):
Caveat: If I can't find the correct fabric in a thrift store garment to use for this and I have to purchase fabric, I may go back to the drawing board on her Gala look based on cost.
